IW 909
The thermo-neutral environment is a main requirement of the
immediate and longer term care of newborn infants, particularly
for low birth weight babies. The infant warmers, open care
systems with radiant heating (infrared), are increasingly
being used for intensive care.
These systems allow ready access to the infant and, at the
same time, minimise alterations in the immediate environment.
The emission of thermoelectric waves allows very little air
convection, thus ensuring maximum comfort to the newborn without
excessive heat and dryness in the environment. Radiant heat
is well driven from the heater in all directions and mainly
towards the baby so that the temperature of the environment
surrounding the baby is fairly stable. In this way hot or
cold spots, that can be dangerous for the little patient,
are avoided.
Ginevri Infant Warmers IW 909 Line comprehensive flexibility,
light weight, multifunction system, simply routine activities
in delivery areas as well as allow unobstructed and reliable
approach in the most critic clinic situation. IW 909 innovative
technology and ergonomic design allow to include ventilation
module Mog 1000 which provide the high performance of a neonatal
ventilator eliminating obstructed access, downtime and costs
of a free-standing ventilator. Thanks to the innovative microprocessor
technology based on the error-free performance trough soft-touch
keys which enabling a simultaneous access to all the functions
such as: controlled heating in order to create and maintain
a perfect thermal environment, to reduce heat losses, to balance
and monitor the patient’s temperature for phototherapy
and resuscitation.
